Happy Summer, friends!

I am writing this update from my little cabin, on a sanctuary farm on the big island of Hawaii (it’s raining and is just so beautiful - There’s Peacocks everyyyywhere).I am enjoying the sounds of nature, the local hot springs and black sand beaches.

After returning home from my time visiting seven countries in Central and South America (more on that in the article down below), I decided to go on a parasite cleanse, and simultaneously became sick with critically low iron (so thankful for Venofer infusions) and then I was exposed to mold, and had multiple serious asthma attacks (so thankful we figured it out and although hopefully not forever, that I’m now on Montelukast).Thank you to everyone who checked in and offered support during that time.

Anyway, I promised that I would take myself on a celebratory trip when the doctors gave the green light to travel again, and once I began to feel better. Hawaii energetically felt right. I’ve now been here for a few weeks, and I don’t have a return ticket home. So, to some extent, this eat-pray-love (myself) journey is still in the flow. And perhaps. it’s never-ending. Either way, I am quite appreciative of this opportunity and the luxury in being able to work remotely, while getting a break from the Joshua Tree summer heat.

How My Eat-Pray-Love (Myself) Journey Transformed Me

In January, I decided to embark on an Eat-Pray-Love (myself) journey. I felt my healing had hit a plateau, and that I lost myself in a string of unhealthy relationships. And, well, nothing changes if nothing changes. Six months later, I feel like I’ve woken up from a coma. I became the Phoenix rising from the ashes. I walked through the fire, and faced and released a multitude of fears. I tested my own limits, traveled far and wide, emotionally, and physically (seven countries). I sat with Ayahuasca and other plant medicines, a handful of times, and stuck with the β€œdieta” in preparation and in integration.
